Tell Us the Goal
Building, fencing, selling, splitting or financing.
What to have ready, how to request a quote, how to prepare your property and what happens on survey day, from the first call to the stamped map.
You don’t need to know the survey’s technical name. Tell us what you’re trying to do (build, fence, sell, buy, split land or satisfy a lender) and who asked for the survey. The building department, title company or lender often has specific requirements, and those decide the scope. With the goal, the parcel and any deadline, we can quote accurately the first time.

Once you approve the quote, we pull your deed, neighboring deeds, plats and prior surveys. That research tells the crew what to look for, so the field day goes quickly and the result holds up.
A few simple steps make survey day faster and safer.
Make sure the crew can reach every corner, or share gate codes.
Dogs and livestock should be secured on survey day.
Tell us about tanks, wells or anything to avoid.
Tell us where you’ve seen markers, but don’t dig them up or move them.
Tall grass and brush slow the search for monuments.
The crew may need to check corners on adjoining lots.
Most residential field work takes a few hours to a day, depending on lot size and how many corners need to be found or set.
Typical timing for a residential boundary survey. Tell us about any deadline and we’ll plan around it.
| Stage | Typical Timing | What Happens |

At minimum, the address or parcel number and your goal (fence, sale, building permit, split, loan). A deed, title commitment, prior survey or lender checklist helps us scope it accurately, plus any gate codes or access notes.
Unlock gates, keep pets inside, and let us know about septic tanks, wells or anything we should avoid. If you know where old corner pins are, tell us, but don’t dig them out or move them. Mowing tall grass near corners helps.
No. As long as the crew can reach the property and corners safely, you don’t need to be there. We’ll call ahead with the field date.
Sometimes. Finding your corners can mean locating monuments on adjoining lots or along the street. Crews are respectful of neighbors’ property, and a quick heads-up to your neighbors helps.
Quotes usually go out within one business day. Fieldwork typically starts within 5–10 business days of approval, and most residential boundary surveys are delivered in 1–3 weeks. Tell us about any closing or permit date and we’ll plan around it.
